Key result

Adding short-course ADT prolonged clinical PFS; weigh this against ADT toxicity and patient preferences.

Current-practice context · reviewed 14 October 2026

RADIOSA showed improved clinical progression-free survival when six months of ADT was added to SBRT for selected metachronous oligorecurrent hormone-sensitive prostate cancer. It supports discussing short-course ADT with MDT but does not establish an overall-survival benefit or justify applying the strategy to every recurrence; consider disease-free interval, PSA kinetics, lesion burden, toxicity and patient priorities.
