PEACE V–STORM

Does ENRT improve MFS compared with focal MDT for PET-detected pelvic nodal recurrence?

Randomized phase II; 196 randomized, 190 evaluable; both arms received 6 months ADT.

Arms / design

ENRT + ADT
76% ENRT
MDT + ADT
63% MDT

Visualization reflects reported outcomes; it does not itself generate an NNT or establish an overall-survival benefit.

Key result

ENRT may improve MFS; phase II findings await confirmatory phase III evidence. Both arms included ADT; comparison is field strategy.

Current-practice context · reviewed 14 October 2026

PEACE V–STORM suggests elective nodal radiotherapy plus short-term ADT improves metastasis-free control compared with metastasis-directed treatment alone in pelvic nodal oligorecurrent prostate cancer. It is phase II randomized evidence and should be interpreted alongside toxicity, prior pelvic RT, imaging quality and patient preference; ENRT versus lesion-only MDT remains a setting where multidisciplinary planning matters.
